This workshop took place in the framework of a study about support to the development and implementation of Innovation Union commitment 21 on knowledge transfer. The Innovation Union is a flagship initiative of the European Union. The study and the workshop are carried out on behalf of the European Commission, General Directorate Research and Innovation. The event's objective was discussing and validating the study's first findings on KTO co-operation as well as preparing the development of a roadmap towards stronger KTOs and KT networks in Europe. The IU21KT study draws from findings of a survey of 100 European KTOs as well as expert interviews and literature evaluation.
